I am going to start doing some reviews of older Scifi movies I have been watching. The first up is going to be Empire of the Ants.
Empire of the Ants was filmed in 1977. It actually had a few big names for stars but over all I would say this movie really sucks. It starts with several scenes where you see ants and they kind explain some of the things that happen in the movie. How do we get giant ants? Someone is seen dumping some kind of toxic waste and some of it makes it to the shore where this is going on.
The special effects are terrible even for a 1977 movie. Most everything seems to be done by people who have no idea what you ave to do to make a good movie.
